Supervision for Neurodivergent Counsellors or Counsellors working with Neurodiversity.

I would love to hear from you if you are a counsellor looking for neurodiverse expertise in your supervision. I aim to create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your client work.

I have been a qualified Counsellor working in Independent Private Practice since 2015 and a qualified Supervisor since 2022. I have experience of working with different client groups and ages in a variety of settings including EAP, Schools, youth services and NHS services. I have also been a counselling tutor in the past.

Most recently, I have set up ND OK! a Neurodiversity Counselling Service where counselling is provided by Neurodivergent Counsellors for Neurodivergent people. I am always looking for other counsellors who are neurodivergent or have a special interest in neurodivergence to join the team. This can be a very supportive and effective way of building up confidence and clients to step into the world of counselling in private practice.

I have a particular interest in working with newly qualified counsellors or those wanting to make the first steps into setting up in private practice. Neurodiversity informed practice is deeply important to me and I am constantly reading and researching in the field of neurodivergence to pass on support and knowledge to clients and supervisees.

I am naturally analytical, an outside the box, bottom up thinker. Humour is an important communication tool for me and I love a good metaphor. Please get in touch if it sounds like I might be a good fit for you.
