Rowan – Associate Children, Young People and Young Adults Counsellor and ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider. (online only)

Hi, I’m Rowan, a neurodivergent counsellor who is passionate about supporting children, young people and young adults. I build therapeutic connections based on trust, respect, and authenticity, laying foundations for productive and positive outcomes to grow. I use a person-centered approach, drawing on different evidence-based practices to provide an experience that is tailored to each individual.

Having navigated school and university with undiagnosed neurodivergence, I understand the additional pressures and confusion that neurodivergent young people and university students face. This perosnal experience, alongside my specialist neurodiversity training has given me the passion and skills to successfully support neurogivegent young people and university sudents.

After completing a masters in Counselling I worked as a school counsellor and am experienced in working with young people across a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, burnout and stress.

Inclusivity is deeply important to me, and I continually work on providing informed and affirming care to people from all walks of life. This includes completing ongoing training to learn new skills, such as training as an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider.
