Research suggests that if you are neurodivergent, your therapy will be more effective if your counsellor is neurodivergent too. This is because it is more likely you will share similar ways of thinking and experiencing the world. This shared outlook will enable you to unmask and feel validated and understood.
We are a small team of friendly neurodivergent counsellors waiting to help you understand yourself and make positive changes.
Therapy is individualised and we are skilled in adapting our psychotherapeutic training intuitively to meet the needs of each unique person. You may not know what you need and that’s ok! We will be able to find a useful way for you to work through whatever brings you to seek therapeutic support
Some of the different ways we work are:

1:1 Counselling / Talking Therapy
This can help individuals work through things that feel difficult or anxiety provoking from the past, present or in the future. Counsellors will use Person Centered, CBT and other techniques to help you to talk through and process thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviors so that you can feel more comfortable and confident in your day to day life.

Therapeutic Coaching
This can help individuals to understand themselves and develop coping skills through solution focused techniques, sharing ideas and psych-education. Counsellors will facilitate exploration into various neurodivergences or symptoms and help you to take control of them. If you have a therapeutic or life goal, then therapeutic Coaching will help you get there.

Psychotherapy
This is often longer term work where the therapeutic relationship helps you to explore life experiences or trauma at depth. If you are feeling stuck or find your self making the same mistakes over and again Psychotherapeutic Counselling can help you unravel difficulties and find clarity and peace of mind.
